For a company operating in the lightening industry we are looking for
Promote employee safety through layout design, process controls and continuously improving manufacturing techniques,
Develop and maintain standard work and process documentation of new and existing products,
Design assembly fixtures and processes required for quality-driven production,
Lead continuous improvement activities,
Assist and launch new product development including Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis and Failure Mode Effects Analysis FMEA opportunities,
Realize VA/VE/Specials variants of products into existing production cells,
Assess and analyze abnormalities to determine root cause and provide an optimal solution quickly,
Involvement on Failure Analysis within the RMA process,
Identify and perform cost savings and avoidance projects,
Support the vertical integration of manufacturing by evaluating manufacturing equipment introduction to optimize time and motion and MFG costs,
Collaborate with Product Engineering and Industrial Engineering partners to ensure process designs and improvements meet product requirements also from a manufacturing prospective,
Coordinate and communicate technical information to and from all levels of the organization - vendors, project managers, integral project team, production team members, and Leadership,
Work with a LEAN approach and implement 5S Lean manufacturing technic.
Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
SKILLS & COMPETENCES REQUIRED:
Relevant Manufacturing experience
Professional English knowledge (written and spoken)
Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines and stakeholders
Experience with electromechanical assembly or manufacturing
Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing Principles (DFM, DFA, DFSS, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban)
Experience with SolidWorks, or similar modeling software
Strong attention to detail, self-starter, high-energy, strong drive for accomplishment
Strong interpersonal skills - ability to connect with and positively influence employees at all levels of the organization, including Leadership
Time and Motion expertise.
