Financial Specialist



The Financial Specialist will be responsible for managing the internal financial needs and reporting of the Italian entity. The selected candidate will liaise with the parent company's finance department and local finance providers.

Main tasks:

  • Administrative and Accounting secretary (invoices for internal validation, documentation scan for external accounting company, managing the import and export admin work)
  • Cash management:

o Treasury forecast preparation based on info collected from Commercial team, Supply chain

and external Accounting consultant

o Payment files preparation and send to accounting consultant

o Transfer and check of the balance and perform the transfer between the accounts

o Cashflow reporting and Bank website signature for payments

  • Credit management:

o Monitoring and updating of the customer file on the basis of accounting firm’s information (customer balance, payments, etc)

o Follow-up clients balances and payments

o Weekly meeting with HQ credit management team

o End of campaign work: prepare a file (per client) detailing the sells by client, articles, quantity, value, payments still due from previous campaign

o Calculation of agent commission

o Insurance control: relationship with the insurance and CRM team at Group Level, ask for coverage, derogation form, etc.

o Calculation and follow up of bad debt provision

  • Stocks Logistic department support:

o Monthly stock value calculation

o Monthly control that all the delivery notes are invoiced

o Support to the annual (or bi-annual) physical inventory

  • Monthly accounting closing:

o Support for the monthly accounting (accruals calculations)

o Support intercompany reconciliation

o Support monthly finance KPI

  • Support for the Budget/Estimation process:
  • Other responsibilities:

o Back up for Monthly payroll process and perform the payment of payroll

o Back up for HR KPI for reporting purpose


  • Economics Background, Knowledge of accounting legislation
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same/similar role
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Attention to details and thoroughness
  • Openness and transparency
  • Fluency in English and Italian

The salary package will be discussed at a later stage of the selection process and will be determined on the basis of the candidate's experience and expertise.
